family's vision and national's vision

Everyone in a family have their own vision including kids. In school teacher asked the kids what they want to be ? A doctor, an engineer, a business man, police officer and many more. What they answered are actually what their vision. At home father has his own vision and will try to guide his family towards his vision. Father's vision sometimes has conflict with the kids and need to take some initiatives to make his vision acceptable to the kids

Vision is very important in setting the direction to move forward. If every family have their vision inline with the country's visions for example to be a high skill nation than it would be more chances to achieve the country vision........I think so.

Develop nation starts from home

Every organization or country have their own Vision and Mission. To achieve the vision every members of the community need to support the vision by implementing initiatives at the lowest level.

For example vision of cleaner community, where the objective is to have a clean city. Every family within the community play their part by keeping their rubbish in the bin will keep the city clean. The father which is the CEO of the family need to have his own initiative to support the cleaner city by:

• Educate the family on how important rubbish to be kept in a bin
• Practice keeping rubbish in a house clean by trowing rubbish  in a bin
• Educate the family on how costly if the rubbish is not kept properly
• Practice the same habit outside the house by trowing rubbish in a bin

If each family can keep the rubbish in a bin, the community will have a cleaner city. If every community in each city keep the same habit, whole country will be clean and will reduce maintenance cost. Cleaner city will attract visitors to their city which in return will generate revenue to the city.........I think so.

Understand Vision and Mission

Understand vision and mission is very important and will improve oneself performance. If we know what is the vision set by the boss, everyone would be able to set their own plan to assist the boss to achieve the vision. By sharing vision with everyone it would help to set a good teamwork.

When everybody understand the vision set, the next thing is to understand the mission required to achieve the vision set. How to achieve the vision will depend on the mission and strategy in place......I think so.

Vision and Mission

Every head, either head of a company, head of state or head a family have wishes. CEO of a company wanted their company to become......world class, head of state maybe wanted the state to become the best government, and head of the family....the father wanted to have a successful family. All of these wishes can be translated as VISION.

To achieve the wishes or VISION we need to plan in general what we want to do, for example as head of family he need to do some saving, buy a bigger house, do extra work for extra income. And all of these can be included as mission to achieve the vision.

So with vision and mission established we have goals to achieve and start do the planning.....I think so

Knowledge and experience

Knowledge and experience are two different things that are very important in producing very good results.

Knowledge can be achieved by reading books, notes, and from discussion or attending classes.
Experience can be achieved by doing it, without doing it we are not able to gain experience. More we do it the more experienced we are.

To be efficient we need both knowledge and experience. For example riding a motorbike, we need to know how to ride a motorbike by reading, talk with friends, see others ride on it and we gain knowledge from it.

After understand how to ride a motorbike, the next thing to do is to ride on it and experience will be gained when we ride and practice riding. The more we practice the more we gain experience.


Doing things with good knowledge and lots of experience will help to perform dan deliver better results  and more efficient ....I think so

University should be for everybody

University is a dream place for everyone. With a degree from a university lots of things can be done. University is a fun place where learning and understanding take place. Going to university is everyone's wishes.

Learning journey in university  provides from basic to advance knowledge of the subject taken. Know why it happen, the application of it and develops creative thinking. College life from first year  to final year have lots to gain from which is different from secondary school.

My view is that university can be a place for everyone to get knowledge. Either attending classes just for knowledge or getting a degree. Some of us would like to have a degree from university but do not qualified for a place. My suggestion is that if there is a program within university that can help those who are not qualified to be trained until they past the college/university entrance test will be very much please by many. No matter what level their education are, they should be given a chance to improve their knowledge and educational qualification.

University is a knowledge farm where the opportunity of growing knowledge should be available to everyone......just my opinion

Your appearances your performance

Most of us do more than one things everyday such as going to office in the morning, playing game in the evening and sometime having night gathering with friends  or for me, ride my bike at night.

Going to office we wear office attire from shirt to shoes, playing games using sport attire, and if you ride motorbike you wear riding jacket and riding boots. Why we need to have different attire for different occasion is just because we want to perform better and more confident in doing it.

Riding motorbike with full protective gear will give more confident in riding the bike and performed better. If we wear office attire and play games, we still be able to play but not as good as if we wear suitable clothing and shoes for the sport.

Wrong attire will limit our movement and also our confident level will not be as if we are wearing suitable attire for the right occasion. Also others will have confident in us if we wear appropriate attire for the occasion......it' just my opinion.

Daily Scorecard

Everyday we have our common daily activities for each family members. Wakeup early in the morning, take a bath, and do things that we daily do. During weekday need to get ready to go to work, kids need to go to school and each individual have their own things to do. Same goes for the weekend where we have our own list to perform.

What we have planned and wanted to do we kept it in our head and some do write in their dairy. In school we use timetable which is basically schedule activity for subjects required and prepare our mind  what we need to do. We can do the same thing for our weekly activities and also can include our weekend programs. Keeping our activity in a record with schedule activity such as school timetable will give us proper plan and also if we add what we expected to achieve will give us more focus in executing the planned activities.

In other word, we use similar to school timetable for whole family and plan what need to be done on Monday, Tuesday, and other days. Add target/expected result and actual achievement to the timetable will make it easy to measure family achievement for the week and make whole family more efficient. Make it a fun timetable with the participation from whole family will make our weekly activity more fun......I think so.

By reviewing the past results will help to improve future weeks ahead. Planned our activity, use timetable,  add expected results and actual achievement for the whole family will be more fun.

Scorecard since kid

When we were kid we were given a card, to record our progress such as weight, health records and monthly progress achieved. The records were updated and kept until certain age.

When we started school we were also given another scorecard to measure our educational performance such as maths, science, and other subjects. Every test taken were recorded in scorecard and compare with previous results. Comparing with previous results will show our achievement and improvement needed to further improve for better results.

Now when we are working we also use scorecard to measure our individual performance, divisional or department performance. The scorecard we use now compare to the one that we used during our school time do have same objectives that are to measure our performance and action needed to improve by set target.

We can also use the scorecard for our daily activities and set our own target what we want to achieve within a day, a month or a year time.

Good planning and proper implementation will help us to achieve our target....I think so.
